Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Oil + Mustard + Methi
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp
  • 2 tbsp Sambar powder
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Jaggery

Instructions

  • In Gingelly oil ( use regular cooking oil if you dont have gingelly) fry mustard and fenugreek seeds
  • Add these seeds ( You can add onions, Okras,Drumstick, Capsicum)
  • Add 2 cups water and tamarind paste and a 2 tbsp jaggery
  • Boil or pressure cook in a small cooker. Vatra means concentrated
  • Add a tsp of Rice flour mixture with water to thicken
