- 1 bunch Spinach
- 1/2 cup Tuvar dal
- 1 tpsp Oil
- 1/2 Onion optional
- 1 cup Water
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 2 tbsp Flour Wheat or All purpose
Tempering ingredients
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Urad
- 3 Red Chilies
Set InstaPot on Saute. Heat oil and add tempering ingredients
Add Onion ( optional) and turmeric
Once ingredients are roasted, stop sauté mode. Add Spinach and tuvar dal
Add water and set IP on Manual for 7 mins ( mins is 6 qt)
Once pressure settles, open and add milk flour paste
Set again on saute for mixture to thicken and enjoy.
Eat with rice side
I double the above and use 2 bunches of spinach on weekends
